AP Reader Recall

It Will Be Fixed
There was a formatting error, and as you may have noticed, the words go off the ends of the pages. I discovered the error when I received my copy and contacted the company promptly. For those of you who purchased and received your AP Language O’Rourke Reader before July 26, 2010, ESCO will be contacting you and replacing it free-of-charge.

  3. Dear Kimmie,

Yes, both AP and English Honors III will have to purchase: AP Language & Composition/ English Honors III Course Reader ($49.50) & Vocab Power Plus for the New SAT Book 3 ($14.50). However, AP students will also have to purchase 5 Steps to a 5 AP English Language, 2010-2011 Edition ($18.95). It takes nearly two weeks to get your books from ESCO so order them now.

  5. Dear Kimmy,

Yes, it is the reader and not the textbook that was used last year. I told students not to sell them to underclassmen and try to sell them back to the school instead. The reason for the change to a reader was because Holt Publications no longer sells the 2003 version of the textbook and only the 2011 version which is over $100. I thought it would be cheaper for students if I made a reader instead.
